The 'Selfie' is a contentious issue among many. I mean, how far will people go in the quest for social media fame? It's something on the minds of Russian authorities as last week, another "selfie" fatality occurred when a woman plunged to her death after falling from a bridge in Moscow. The police say at least 10 have died and 100 people have been injured from attempting the ultimate selfie. In response, the Russian police have issued instructions for taking safe selfies. According to a recent article in the New York Times, these guidelines warn against "standing on railroad tracks, climbing onto roofs or posing with a gun or a tiger." We'd like you to know, our fashion photography team is not likely to be posing with tigers or other dangerous elements anytime soon. We ask that you don't either. Think not of yourself, but of the welfare of your shoes.
