Irregular Choice heads down the rabbit hole with their latest Alice in Wonderland collection.
Irregular Choice has yet another hit on their hands with their second Disney collaboration Alice in Wonderland. This is a unique selection of conversation-worthy heels that showcases the brand’s unique talent for inspired design.
Earlier this year, the U.K. brand turned heads with their coveted Star Wars™ collection—a series of character shoes that reimagined iconic figures from the worldwide phenomenon. The collection quickly gained traction with everything from faux fur Chewbacca boots to R2D2 heeled pumps.
This latest collaboration comes on the heels of Disney Studio’s new film: Alice Through the Looking Glass which premieres in May 2016. It’s been six years since Tim Burton smashed box office records with his take on Alice in Wonderland and with such success, a sequel was inevitable. This time, it’s former Muppets director James Bobin who takes the helm as Director while the star-studded cast reunites for another sure-fire hit.
Once again, Johnny Depp plays the Mad Hatter with Mia Wasikowska returning as Alice. Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Stephen Fry and many more return for another adventure down the rabbit hole. The newest cast member, Sacha Baron Cohen, plays the role of Time—a creature who is part human, part clock.
The sequel will find Alice (Mia Wasikowska) return to the world of Underland and discover that things are going very wrong. The Mad Hatter is “growing darker,” and Alice is the only person or thing who can help before it’s too late.
The footwear collection on the other hand, embraces the lighter side of the Disney original. It’s a best-of with a tea-pot heeled ankle boot complete with glitter and polka dot bow; Cheshire Cat ballet slipper (with tail) and of course, the Alice heel. While we may have to wait until May to see the movie, you can step out in style today, thanks to these amazing heavenly heels. IrregularChoice.com — Nicole Ross
