BEJEWELED: SARA ROBERTSSON

Meet silver-specialist Sara Robertsson. With an MA in fashion from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design, the talented designer gravitated to jewelry design for its unique ability to be passed down from generation to generation. She views it as "a more sustainable approach to being able to work with a creative expression and beauty that can be worn." We caught up to talk inspiration, style and design.

What are you listening to right now? Nina Simone's record Black Gold.

What’s one piece of jewelry you never leave home without? ARC and PLUTO rings from my own collection, In Circles, preferably stacked together.

If you had to choose, would it be silver or gold? Silver. No doubt. It's the material I work with and apart from the incredible color of silver itself, I find it goes so well with almost all other colors.

What’s one thing people would never guess about you? Hmm, tricky one... But I guess most people wouldn't guess that I once sang with the opening act at a Einstürzende Neubauten concert in Stockholm, in front of 2000 people.

Priceless to you means… Experiences, nature, people, and all other things that give me more joy than anything money could ever buy. And also being inspired and creating something I feel truly connected to.
