f. is for frank is one of our favorite jewelry finds. Originally created by designer Shoshannah Frank, she added the talents of Casey Melton to the mix in 2009 and the rest, as they say, is history. We caught up with the vivacious pair to talk style and inspiration.

What are you listening to right now? Leon Bridges from Ft. Worth TX.

What’s one piece of jewelry you never leave home without?

Casey: Any of our f. is for frank studs, they make me look good even when I am filthy from grinding and polishing jewelry all day.

Shannah: Believe it or not I am not an everyday jewelry wearer, (the cats out of the bag) but when I do it is my f. is for frank gold Jefferson necklace and my mother and grandmother's wedding bands.

If you had to choose, would it be gold or silver?

Casey: I am a gold girl all the way.

Shannah: I tend to rock the pewter.

What’s one thing people would never guess about you?

Casey: I am not sure.... I am a pretty open book. One random fact is I was a lacrosse goalie in college. If you saw me you might be surprised by that fact.

Shannah: I collect smashed pennies from my adventures. One day I hope to make something awesome out of them.

“Priceless” to you means…

Casey: priceless to me are moments and things that cant be replaced. My kids give me priceless moments everyday.

Shannah: I will add to Casey and say the opportunities that we have at f. is for frank to explore and create.
