Come February 2017, it's set to hit NYC. We catch up with UBM Fashion Group’s President of Footwear, Leslie Gallin to get the low down on the latest expansion of one of the most iconic footwear shows.
What can we expect from FN PLATFORM NYC? FN PLATFORM NYC will cater to the women’s market. With BJI’s recent acquisition, this is the first time FN PLATFORM will sit alongside other coveted women’s shows such as Moda, Stitch, Edit and Accessories the Show. Taking place during Coterie, the New York show will offer a head-to-toe buying experience for the women’s market. This will offer our brands clear, strategic pathways to the omni-channel buying community.
Will we see similar vendors in NYC as Las Vegas? FN PLATFORM Las Vegas is an International forum for footwear. It showcases all categories Men's, Women's, Juniors and Children's under one room. New York is geared towards the apparel retailer who is looking for footwear and Tri-state footwear retailers. The New York show will ONLY showcase Women's and Junior’s footwear and accessories. Sole Commerce, which will sit at the center of Coterie, will elevate its offerings to footwear and accessories retailing above $400usd. All other footwear will be located with within the FN PLATFORM brand. This offers a more streamlined navigation for our attendees.
What makes you excited about hosting this event in NYC? Each of our shows resonates with a different audience. We’re looking forward to creating a welcoming environment for new brands from all over the world.
