We catch up with Larissa Bruin, the brains and beauty behind style blog, From Hats to Heels.
You're on a first date, what shoe do you wear? I would probably go for mid-heeled ankle booties or sandals, depending on the weather and the rest of my outfit. This is chic, but comfortable. And most important of all: not too dressy.
What's one fashion rule you always break? I don't really believe in rules, which is why I sometimes tend to wear summer items during the winter and vice versa.
When it comes to shoes, how much is too much to pay? For me, this depends on a variety of factors, like the shoe itself, how many times I will wear it and what occasion I am buying it for in particular. Then the maximum price for me could range from $20 to $1000.
Who is your favorite shoe designer? I always seem to fall in love with Isabel Marant's collections, for her shoes are elegant but comfortable at the same time. Besides this designer, I love shoes from Senso, ASOS and ZARA as well.
If you were a shoe, what shoe would you be? I would be a heeled sandal with a complex design: open and elegant, but complex and tough, something like this Jimmy Choo Vanquish snakeskin & leather sandal.
