LARA QUINT IN BLOOM FOR AW16

Inspired by Charles Baudelaire’s collection of poems, The Flowers of Evil (Les Fleurs du mal) Lara Quint’s Fall 16/17 collection features a chrysanthemum flower as the central design motif—petals emerging from stitched seams, entwining the chest and waist. With a theme of catharsis, long coats, trouser suits, and woolen overalls, matched with knee-high boots and rubberized fabric gloves are a complementary combination of rough male and delicate feminine aesthetics.
