Amidst the Fuori Salone at Milan Design Week 2017, Brazilian footwear brand, Melissa Shoes, has unveiled the Melissa FEM.IN.INE Collective: an art exhibition featuring two innovative installations in collaboration with Italian female artist Chiara Dynys and Francesca Pasquali. With its feminine essence, the installations reflect each artist's interpretation and style within the context of the Melissa universe, blending the worlds of art, architecture, design and fashion.

Strategically set in the heart of the Brera Design District, an epicenter for design culture in Milan, the exhibition offers an immersive experience dedicated to celebrating the presence of women in art.

Chiara Dynys' Tears installation is an exploration of the metaphysical and transcendent qualities of both the human mind and the world we inhabit. Much like Melissa's kaleidoscopic shiny shoes, the installation also features a series of transparent and luminescent tear-shaped frames cast from methacrylate.

Francesca Pasquali's AranhaBolaColoridas channels Melissa's love of innovation, vitality, energy of materials, transformation and respect for the environment. Known of interlacing the organic and inorganic, Pasquali, like Melissa, has refused plastic as well as industrial materials to curate the multi sensory environment that symbolizes life, movement, energy, metamorphosis and change.
