This morning we catch up with cat lover, tea drinker and obsessive shoe buyer, Lizzy Hadfield of U.K. style blog Shot From the Street. — ShotFromTheStreet.com

You're on a first date, what shoes do you wear? Something high, sexy but walkable! I don’t want to be making a fool of myself and falling over on the first date. But I need a pair that makes me feel amazing—I am thinking something with a simple strappey shoes with a 4 inch heel.

What's one fashion rule you always break? Not to mix navy and black. Being a lover of dark colors, black and navy is actually one of my favorite combinations!

When it comes to shoes, how much is too much to pay? I personally haven’t paid over £400 for some shoes. I am a lover of designer shoes, and have quite the collection now, but I am a sale girl all the way!! I love a bargain, and the only time I pay full price is for classic styles where I know they won’t go down in the sales.

Who is your favorite shoe designer? Oh, that’s a tough one! For styles it would have to Saint Laurent. I think I almost love every single shoe in their collections, the mix between classic styles and on trend pieces is just perfect! For comfort I have to say Alexander Wang. I have a few pairs by Alexander Wang and they are by far the comfiest I own! But amazing shoes aren’t always about comfort, right?

If you were a shoe, what shoe would you be? Probably a suede pointed court, with a 10cm heel, and not in black. Something classic, but not necessarily predictable!
