What are you listening to right now? I’ve been listening to Courtney Barnett a lot over the last couple of months. Her lyrics are brilliant. I was in Nashville the first time I heard her on the radio and remember stopping to turn the volume up because it was so surprisingly original. I always have a bit of country in rotation and Kacey Musgraves’ new album Pageant Material is really good. I’m seeing Jesus and Mary Chain in September and so excited, so I keep replaying those old albums, especially Automatic.
What’s one piece of jewelry you never leave home without? The Parallel Bar Ring by Species By The Thousands. I get asked about it nearly every time I wear it. It is a simple statement piece which is a rare combination.
If you had to choose, would it be gold or silver? Gold. I love its warmth and fineness. I wore silver exclusively for years so gold feels fresher to me too.
What’s one thing people would never guess about you? The only person I'd rather be than me is Karen O. I want her sequined wardrobe and her high kicks.
“Priceless” to you means…Family, first and foremost. Everything else is secondary and fairly fleeting. In the material sense, priceless is always associated with an experience. My wedding ring, a souvenir from a vacation, a birthday gift from my mother.
