Comfort recovery footwear manufacturer, Telic announced today that they have appointed Bill Taylor as VP of Sales and Valerie Grindle as CFO.

Mr. Taylor is an industry veteran with over 25 years of executive experience working with both large and emerging brands. Most recently he served as president & CEO of Koolaburra and has also held several leadership positions at Birkenstock, Sanita, Aicad, Diesel, Tommy Hilfiger and Rockport.

"I first heard about Telic in 2014 from Mike Todd—a good friend and also my Asia Pacific Manager for my former company, who told me this brand was on fire in Asia," explained Taylor. "I then checked with another friend and one of the best retailers in the country, Dave Levy from Hawley Lane Shoes in Connecticut. He confirmed how well the brand was doing for his stores—same with Rick Ravel at Karavel and Rosco Rolnick at Guarantee Shoes, two more of the best retailers I know. I am thrilled to work for a company that provides good foot health, cares about the employees like family, and is committed to be 'Made in America' which provides jobs and quality product for a quickly growing recovery market."

Telic has also announced that Valerie Grindle has been appointed CFO. Ms. Grindle served as CEO of PCS Edventures, as CFO of Great American Appetizers, as president of Grindle & Associates, as vice president at Telecommunications, as CFO of Tenneco Minerals, and as president of Houston Oil and Minerals Exploration. “We are confident that bringing Bill and Valerie on board are two major steps forward in our mission to provide world-class U.S. made, recovery footwear to the world”, stated Terry Stillman, co-founder and CEO of Telic. —
