Australian jazz singer Fem Belling is headed our way for the launch of her new album, NOW THEN. Brimming with flirty takes on your favorite pop tunes, this is one performer you won't want to miss. For dates and updates, head to FemBelling.com.
You're on a first date, what shoe do you wear? If it’s dinner, a flirty high heel that shows a touch of ankle. If it’s casual, Converse All Stars.
What's one fashion rule you always break? Red and Orange, the view that they don’t work together is so last season. Clashing colors and popping tones is where it is at.
When it comes to shoes, how much is too much to pay? Wow this is a shoe-a-holic's nightmare question, I have learned through age and years of sore feet that you mostly pay for what you get. So, I am now somewhat picky with my shoes, but I love a diverse selection of footwear. From charity shop to designer, Clog to stiletto. The love/need for the shoe is directly proportionate to the $$$ of the shoe. Interpret that as you will.
Who is your favorite shoe designer? I am totally crushing on Melissa. Not only are her shoes recyclable but as a jazz singer, I stand on my feet for long, four hour stints and her shoes never hurt and I still feel fabulous at the end of the gig. They smell like every woman wants her tootsie’s to smell… tutti frutti! If that’s not enough they are non-toxic, hypo-allergenic, cruelty-free, and vegan. *drops mic* She collabs with some incredible designers like Vivienne Westwood, Karl Lagerfeld, Jason Wu, Jean Paul Gaultier. Wearing a Melissa is like wearing an art work. Sometimes I match my Melissa’s with the music I am singing. Heaven.
If you were a shoe, what shoe would you be? NOVA shoe by Zaha Hadid, once you see it, you got me!
